My reflection of technolgy beginning to end

My year started being a novice with computers and all the tools online. As I progressed in my class, I knew about blogs, but never utilized all the tools that this site provides, now I'm more comfortable to try the items here. as for writing whats on my mind for public eye ussually I am the type to keep my thoughts to myself this class has opened not only my brain but my thoughts. Then there was the wiki, the survey site site to make slide shows movies these sites are out there to use and to utilize in the classroom.
My favorite and most stimulating I believe was producing a web page my own site it blows my mind I was able to do this a few years ago if someone asked if I thought I could design a web page I would have laughed and thought designing web pages were only for the computer genious, never would have know there are generators out there to help you all you have to do is open your mind and research. This was the most stimulating course I've taken now I feel I can call myself an advance novice on technology, there is so much out there so much to learn I want to take it all in.

Google Earth

As I've stated before technology scares me, but with everything I've seen this semester I have been enlightened by the new technology I've learned. Google Earth is no exception I searched the site and was amazed at all you can do. The classroom use is unlimited kids can do research, projects you can even create quizzes for areas you are studying. I was skeptical at first thinking science and history was the only classes that would benefit from this site, then I saw art history and other amazing sites global warming would be an amazing curriculum and there are certain times on the subject you can link amazing areas of global warming like the polar bears their habitat all in all this is a very resourceful site for teachers.
