Bloom Taxonomy

When I went to the web sites of bloom I was confused actually very overwhelmed by all the information that he was giving, when I saw the pyramid of higher learning if all you do is concentrate on this it breaks it down to an easier understanding, which i believe this method could be used in any and all ways of teaching and learning.
I guess all in all is this theory only way of getting higher learning or is it his way of achieving higher learning.

Response to Dr. Bernie Dodge

The pitfalls of making a webquest wow my quest has most everything that he said not to do, the one thing I had was a a great topic. To me its like Dr. Bernie looked over my webquest picked it a part and gave critism and said this is what i see in your quest now fix it. In order to correct my webquest I need to spunk up my intro to draw my kids in, then instead of using all factuals i need to maybe ask questions with questions make the audiance wonder want to see for themselves want them to research and do the project without it feeling like they are working but being explorers.

Begining of my WebQuest

Designing a WebQuest, people say the hardest part of doing most research papers or web pages is coming up with the topic, but I had no problem coming up with my topic, I wanted to do something close to my heart I chose a topic about my ancestors.
My problem with doing the WebQuest is figuring out how to set it up and where I set it up. I'm confused on where to start on my design. Do I go to a web page where I set up my WebQuest or do I go into my microsoft word and create my own, and if I do this how do I have it accessible to my students so they can start their research on the subject.

Creative Commons

I went to Magnatunes to see the variety of music. I might have been mistaken by the podcast with the interview with John Buckman, but I was sure he said the music on there was free downloads as long as you weren't going to make money with it. Like I said I went on Magnatunes and there were only 48 songs free, all others were buy downloads or cd.
I do think Creative Commons has a great concept in the fact they allow people to share and still have copy writes. What they create is still protected but is allowed to be seen as long as no one makes money.
The internet is a great place to get your work out allows you to get known with out the huge exspense of advertising. I do believe this concept can and will work as long as everyone dont take advantage of it and all other businesses suffer because we all strive on money flow in all industry and if we use the internet for everything this can and will impact the economy.

Web Design

I must say initially I had a big fear of web designing, but once I went to my first web editor I had a blast looking through what you can do with it. There is so many ways you can create your page, so many use of a web page.
I'm still having some issues on a couple of the web designs, but having fun trying to figure them out hoping to learn all i can once I truly understand web design I feel as a future teacher I would be capable of utilizing my page for many things as a portfolio, a blog page and maybe even as a teaching tool.

5000 days of the internet

Kevin Kelley seems to be a visionary with connections to people of the internet, but I always think about the future as well I felt that the computer world would someday take over humanity. I believe from now on movies and comic books should not be titled science fiction, but instead should be called the future because alot that has happened or has become came from these types of movies or comic books or there really are similarities.
As far as us becoming co-dependant on internet I believe we as a nation as the power to limit what the internet becomes. I don't like the idea of the concept that Kevin was talking about with the web being personalized and us needing to be transparent I feel this will create much more predators from the internet than ever before and these people will have access to whom ever they may want.
